ReSet

ReSet Brochure

ReSet is a Consortium led by Wungening Aboriginal Corporation with the support of these partner agencies. ReSet provides support to men and women while in prison and after leaving prison, so that they can have a new beginning that is meaningful and breaks the cycle of offending.

Connecting with family and community

ReSet understands how important it is for you to be connected with your family and friends while you are in prison. ReSet manages the Family Support Centres at Bandyup, Casuarina, Hakea and Wooroloo prisons, where your family and friends will be made to feel welcome and listened to.

Positive Parenting Relationships

ReSet can help you to find ways to be the kind of parent you want to be. ReSet can help you and your partner to work together so that you feel more confident and comfortable being a parent.

Adjusting to life after prison

ReSet will support you to prepare for leaving prison and will support you once you are back in the community.

Finding a place to live

Having a safe place to live when you leave prison is crucial to getting your life back on track. ReSet can help you to find a place to live when you leave prison.

Preparing for and finding work

With ReSet, you will be linked to employment support that delivers results. ReSet will work with you to explore training and employment opportunities.

How can I get support?

If you are in prison, due for release and would like to get support from ReSet you will need to contact your Transitional Manager and find out if you qualify to be referred to ReSet.
