Alcohol & Other Drugs Services

Wandjoo to Ngalla Wirrin Wungening

Our Ngalla Wirrin Wungening (NWW) staff do moorditj work with mob wanting professional support for their alcohol and/or drug use.

NWW is our Aboriginal-led healing program providing culturally safe support to community living with challenges brought about by drugs and alcohol.

Our award-winning group therapy programs and individual counselling sessions are part of a healing journey built on connection and trust, using Aboriginal ways of knowing, being and doing.

We also have a program to support the moort of those experiencing alcohol and drug challenges.

Aboriginal-led healing

Our one-on-one counselling and group programs are grounded in the Wungening philosophy of Aboriginal Ways, Authentic Connections and Flexible Services.

The majority of our moorditj staff are Aboriginal, with lived experience of racism, exclusion and intergenerational trauma.

When you come to us, your journey will be guided by our Five Domains of Healing, which are:

  • Mia (home / stability)
  • Koonger (social / physical / emotional)
  • Koort (heart /culture /connection)
  • Kaat (head /learning /growth)
  • Moort (family /relationships)

That’s too deadly, ana!
