Danny Ford OAM
Danny has tertiary qualifications in teaching and social work. He has worked in the public sector for 28 years and also developed consultancy business Kambarang Services. Danny sits on the Board of a number or organisations, including the Noongar Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Glenda Kickett
Glenda has a Bachelor of Social Work, a Master of Arts in Indigenous Research and Development, as well as a Doctor of Philosophy. She is the Chairperson of NAIDOC Perth, Co-Chairperson of Social Reinvestment WA, and is a Board member of the Noongar Child Protection Council, Glass Jars, Shooting Stars Australia, Netball WA and Equus Bonding.
Dr Christine Clinch
Christine graduated as a Doctor of Medicine in 2008, and is currently working at Curtin University as part of the Aboriginal Health team within the Medical School. Christine has dedicated her professional life to promoting the health and wellbeing of her community. She is dedicated to increasing representation within the medical field of graduating Aboriginal doctors.
Brett Ingram
Throughout his career as a senior leader, Brett has developed and managed many programs supporting Aboriginal people. These are in the areas of health & wellbeing, education, business development, community services, alcohol & other drug (AOD) counselling, family domestic violence (FDV) prevention, and justice.
Brett is a full-time consultant and board director working with Aboriginal corporations across Australia. He is passionately focused on Indigenous advancement and self-determination.
Violet Bacon
Violet has a Bachelor of Social Work, and a Masters in Health Counselling. She was the first Aboriginal Social Work Lecturer to be employed in the Social Work and Social Policy Department of UWA. One of the original Board Members of our organisation, she also brings experience as a past Board Member of the Australian Alcohol and Drug Council of Australia, the Drug and Alcohol Authority, Palmerston, and the School of Social Work and Social Policy at UWA.
Dr Shauna Hill
Shauna is a practicing Medical Doctor, having completed a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery at the University of WA. She also completed a Bachelor of Arts degree, graduating with a double major in Politics and History. Shauna values education and is committed to promoting the empowerment and benefits that education brings; including improved health, as well as the health literacy of indviduals, families and community.
Gordon Cole
With national Directorship roles, Gordon also has business, investment, and commercial interests. He is CEO of Cole supplies, Chairperson of the Noongar Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Director of the National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Housing Association, and a member of the National NAIDOC Committee.
Gordon strives for greater First Nations participation in the economy, grounded in culture and Country. He also works for the betterment of First Nations people across Australia and has represented his mob internationally.
