Glenda is a Whadjuk and Ballardong woman from the Bibbulman Noongar Nation.

Glenda is the Program Manager, Aboriginal Children and Families and Therapeutic Services at the Australian Childhood Foundation where she has worked for three years. Prior to taking up this position Glenda was the Executive Manager at Djooraminda-Centrecare for thirteen years. Glenda has a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Western Australia, a Master of Arts in Indigenous Research and Development from Curtin University and a Doctor of Philosophy through the School of Social Work at the University of Western Australia.

Glenda has served as the Chairperson of NAIDOC Perth Inc. from 2008 until current day, is a member of the Noongar Child Protection Council, serves as co-Chair for Social Reinvestment WA, and is a board member for Glass Jars, Shooting Stars Australia, Netball WA and Equus Bonding.

My goal of being a Director on the Wungening Board is to bring my professional skills, experiences and cultural knowledge of working in child protection and family support alongside government departments and other non-government organisations to bring about change in the way services are delivered to our people which are culturally strong and healing.
