Going Rainbow for Pride Month

So when you see our logo or assets rainbow this month, just know it is in support of the LGBTQA+ community, including many of our team members, staff, clients and wider community.

Pride Month is an annual, dedicated month that focuses on and celebrates LGBTQA+ people and their history. It’s a month centered around recognising and celebrating diversity in sexuality and identity, and promoting equal rights for all. Through Pride Month, the voices of marginalised individuals can be heard and given the focus to talk about issues concerning the LGBTQIA+ community.

When we talk about the importance of Pride month, we mean being good allies to our LGBTQIA+ community.

We spend so many of our days and weeks at work – so building an inclusive office, team and workplace makes a huge difference.

Pride month is more then just a month, its a change to reflect a more inclusive world.

Wondering how you can be a better ally this pride month?

• Be an Active Listener

• Follow or Engage in LGBTQIA+ Media

• Attend Guest Speakers or Inclusion Training

• Respect Privacy

• Avoid Assumptions

• Use Correct Pronouns

• Stand up for LGBTQIA+ people when others don’t respect them.

• Help organise events and initiatives that seek to build LGBTQIA+ inclusion.

• Continue building inclusion in your everyday life, and advocate for others to do the same.
