MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIRPERSON OF THE WUNGENING ABORIGINAL CORPORATION BOARD OF DIRECTORS:

I just want to thank everyone involved in the opening of the new hubs this week. They were great events with large numbers of both community people and service providers at each of the offices.

Big thanks to Uncle Ben Taylor and Lindsey Callum for the smoking ceremonies. Doolan and Walter Eatts, Theresa Walley and Uncle Ben for the Welcome to Country which also made the openings special.

The flowers presented to the female Elders and others was a special touch and much appreciated.

The staff at each of the hubs were most engaging with those in attendance and in conversation with staff and others they all welcomed these centres and look forward to working with the community and other stakeholders.

Following progressively evaluation of the services and programs delivered at these hubs, we will be able to provide a sound service that improves the health and wellbeing of our communities, individuals and their families.

On behalf of myself and the Board please pass on our thanks to everyone involved.

Kind regards and many thanks.
