Wungening named a finalist in AIATSIS Summit Awards

We’re proud to announce that Wungening’s inaugural Noongar Warrior Month campaign has been announced as a finalist in the inaugural 2025 Australian Institute of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies (AIATSIS) Summit Awards.

We’re so thrilled that our deadly Noongar Warrior Month articles, artwork and designs – all created to love-bomb our community with good news during the wave of toxicity surrounding Invasion Day – has been short-listed by the AIATSIS judges.

Wungening was announced as a finalist in the Excellence in Contemporary Innovation Category today.

Winners will be announced during the AIATSIS Summit Gala Dinner in Garramilla (Darwin) on June 6.
