About the program

The Barn Doyintj Doyintj Team is an outreach and case management program working with women and children whose safety has been further compromised by COVID-19. The service is provided by two Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations (ACCO’s), Wungening and Noongar Mia Mia, and works with all stakeholders, including family and community, to improve the safety of Aboriginal women and children. The Barn Doyintj Doyintj program’s primary target are Aboriginal families, and people connected to our existing services, however, we are committed to a whole of community response to FDV and a ‘No Wrong Door’ approach.

The role

Coodinator Package

Reporting to the Manager Housing and Homelessness, you will be committed to providing support to Aboriginal women and children within a flexible FDV and culturally informed three-tiered outreach case management model – Identify and Engage, Collaborative Support and Maintaining Safety. A strong and effective leader, you will organise and monitor the program to ensure successful outcomes that are responsive to individual client needs. You will oversee your team’s contribution to the quality of program outcomes, quality of data management and efficiency with reporting. You will also monitor the operations of the service to ensure delivery of a safe and culturally appropriate service.
