The Pathways Program is a voluntary program for people in correctional facilities to reflect on their past criminal activities and alcohol and other drug use; with the aim of developing strategies for self-improvement and change.

The program focuses on developing knowledge, skills, commitment and plans to support sustained change including preventing relapse and recidivism. The program is based on Wanberg and Milkman’s Criminal Conduct and Substance Abuse Treatment Strategies for Self-Improvement and Change: pathways to responsible living (2006)
